Facebook brings down 2.2 billion phony accounts during January and March, a record high for the organization.
That number is just a little less than the 2.38 billion
month to month active clients Facebook has in the world. For
comparison, Facebook (FB) disabled 1.2 billion phony accounts in
the past quarter and 694 million among October and December 2017. The new
numbers were published Thursday in the organization’s third Community Standards
report. Facebook will start releasing this report quarterly beginning one year
from now, as opposed to two times per year, and begin the inclusion of
Instagram reports.
The organization said it gauged 25 of each 10,000 content views, for example, viewing a video or looking at a photograph, on Facebook were of things that abused its content guidelines. Somewhere in the range of 11 and 14 of each 10,000 content views violated its nudity and sexual content rules.
